THE SPACE
We, Northern Sustainable Futures, an creative organisation with a flexible team of individuals from different backgrounds with a clear vision to develop meaningful realities. We develop, manage, collaborate, and support cultural, creative, and innovative activities. We are situated in the rural Swedish north, in a small village called Moskosel. Our headquarters is at Moskosel Creative Lab, a former large closed down school building, where we offer artist residency programs, living accommodations and working studio spaces.
Our focus is on promoting artistic exploration, encouraging cross-disciplinary collaborations, and building lasting relationships between artists and communities. The idea of creating an immersive mobile gallery, iMKONSTHALL, grew out of the Covid pandemic in need to travel with works to rural audiences. The gallery enables us to showcase a broad spectrum of creative expressions, from established artists to emerging talents. This gallery offers uniquely a large amount of artworks in a very small area, all newly and specifically created from both national and international artists.
iM KONSTHALL, a gallery space where approximately 40% of the gallery is dedicated to an immersive room for projections, remaining 60% for Virtual Reality and auditory experiences, crowning the top is a rooftop open-air stage.
We tailor make programmes and work ideally very closely with municipalities and art organisations that will be hosting the gallery.
