Linda Remahl, a Swedish dance artist based in Moskosel. In her artistic practice she blends movement and film by creating interactive installations and site-specific performances. Linda plays with video editing as a choreographic tool. Her inspiration is the human conditions, personal history and identity, memories and thoughts, dreams and aspirations.
How we see, and relate to our surroundings. The individual's unique rhythm and language of movement, our everyday gestures in different combinations, mixed, amplified, reversed, questioning, repeating and adding. Linda is situated in inland north of Sweden in a small village and is dedicated in reaching rural audiences.
Collaborations and encounters with other artists and art forms are at the centre of her work. For the iM KONSTHALL piece she collaborates with Mexican visual artists Gerardo Salas.
