Mariana Miranda, a Portuguese movement and voice-based performer. Mariana, In a self-journey of discovering her own dance selves, recognizing to be an endless story. Beside the contemporary scene, her interests in dance are wide and, specially, lie on learning ancient practices since traditional, folk, to urban styles and capoeira.
She’s a multi-artist, expressing herself trough movement, singing, visual and aesthetic composition, such as styling and drawing. She’s drawn for visual composition, naturally using the scenography and styling-costume as a starting point. The topics arousing from her performances, and behind, are linked to philosophical and emotional self-reflections, as it’s a natural and inevitable to witness the coincidences all around.
