Valeriya Koptseva is a Ukrainian dancer, choreographer and performing artist, who works in all fields of this art: from teaching around the Europe to performing on theater stage and acting in music videos. Valeriya for the @im_konsthall project will be working with the Ukrainian visual artists Yaroslav Korotkov.
Yaroslav is a director and a screenwriter, who works on a full-length documentary films, feature films, artistic and music videos as well. Together they are aiming to bring a fresh air to these kinds of art. By integrating miniatures to the music videos (as a tool to create any imaginary World), playing with the light and digital innovations.
In this Residency they started on two projects: short movie based on a projection mapping dance, VR reality that will capture one of the most epic periods that human beings are living through. This residency is supported by Estrad Norr and Northern Sustainable Futures.
